Sigmatel Audio Driver And Vista Service Pack 1: Questions

I am being offered Service Pack 1 via Windows Update since a month or so - even though I have what I think is an incompatible audio driver, SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC, version 6.10.5511.0.
